Visual Brand Designer
We’re looking for an optimistic graphic designer with a love for copywriting. You are part of the marketing team, working with our Creative and Digital Marketeers to bring our brand image to the next level. You’re all about making us look and sound good and getting the O My Bag story out there, making the whole world just as excited about our bags as we are. We’re looking for someone with a great eye for design, a love of fashion and media and who is eager to display our lifestyle brand in the best light.
High energy and positive attitude
Have a M.Sc. or Ba University or HBO degree in Graphic Design or something similar. You have strong marketing experience (internship or professional)
Experience in full Adobe Creative Suite. 2-3 years professional and/or intern experience in an agency or as part of in-house creative team
Have experience with digital direct mail on Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform and you have experience in creating social content for blogs and social channels
Are able to write in a conversational style, informative and light in English and Dutch

What you’ll do
You’ll design and create offline marketing materials like the look book, brand book, collection overview, and a visual merchandise guide.
You’ll design and create newsletters. Writing content and designing graphics.
You will create content for our social media channels. Focus will be on Instagram posts, insta-stories and on Facebook posts and advertorials. You’ll design the graphics and write content.
You’ll design and create input for the O My Bag website to make sure that customers want to wander through our online pages for ages. You’ll work with the digital team to oversee the web shop:
– Design graphics and banners for the website
– Design page layouts
– Manage product photography and product descriptions
You’ll make artwork for in-store point of sale materials and help create in-store experience for our retailers.
You’ll also help the production team with developing bag designs and technical specification sheets.
You’ll design product labels and packaging.
You’ll help the Creative Marketing manager to organize and style photo shoots.
You’re responsible for the O My Bag image bank. You’ll edit pictures after various in-house photoshoots.
You’re good at
Print production, pre-press and/or reproduction processes and techniques. You have a solid understanding of typography, color theory, composition and lay-out.
The ability to take ownership of projects and drive them through completion. You are pro-active and driven. You have a can-do mentality and always look for opportunities.
You have a feeling for the O My Bag aesthetics and branding. You’re very interested in social media and online marketing.
You have strong writing skills and can nail the O My Bag tone of voice.
You have a strong eye for detail and consistency. As far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time.
A WordPress know-it-all. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and comfort with custom code.
Photography and videography skills.
You’re interested in improving the world of fair trade fashion.
